Firn - 2025
Designed more as a testing station than a traditional store, FIRN offers an almost experimental space that embraces the collision between nature and performance.
The project is structured around a dark opus incertum stone floor, echoing alpine scree fields, over which technical-fabric display modules : quilted, crinkled, or metallic, seem to float, somewhere between technical shelter and post-minimalist cocoon.
The ultra-technical FIRN Wall, cast in a single piece, draws inspiration from the organic, abstract sculptures of Barbara Hepworth and the snow mantles of high-altitude landscapes. At its center, a luminous sphere pulses with a soft, breathing glow. FIRN’s iconic domes seem to float, suspended in forms that recall snow-carved hollows.
At the heart of the boutique, a central island designed as a modular testing station recalls the architectures of extreme environments, Antarctic research bases, high-mountain laboratories, remote alpine refuges. Its soft, fluid curves contrast with patinated aluminium and deep-lacquered glass.
